Our Families & the Houses & Farms where they Lived
Every house and every farm has a story and many a story has been lost as the people who occupied Strath Taieri houses and farms over the years have gone to their graves leaving their stories untold.
Houstories is a small but growing series of narratives by various contributors telling us what they know about local houses, some of which are still serving as homes or as visitor accommodation; some are now empty shells and in some cases they have succumbed to fire, decay or the wrecking ball.
